IT

One wrong click in an admin portal hits the whole company.

A DNS zone, a backup schedule, a firewall rule. ClickCheck adds a moment of pause before the actions you’d rather never have to undo.

Not without a change request

Deleting a DNS zone takes down email and the website for the whole company. This only goes through an approved change request.

Example An admin is about to delete a DNS zone. This is one of the few actions you deliberately chose to block.

Why

Admin portals are built to let you do anything.

That’s the point. But it means a domain registrar, a cloud console or an RMM tool will do exactly what you ask without complaint: at five on a Friday, in the wrong tenant, for the wrong client.

Plenty of IT teams have change rules: no changes on Friday, DNS only with a ticket, admin rights never permanent. Those rules live in a wiki. ClickCheck brings them to the button.

Rules for IT

    Block without a change request

  • Disabling a backup job.

    Approval from the IT lead

  • A production change after 4 pm on a Friday.

    Confirmation

  • Working in a different client’s tenant than expected.

    Warning with the client name

  • Deleting a user.

Safe when in doubt

Blocking only when it’s certain.

A block is heavy-handed, so ClickCheck is careful with it. A rule only blocks when the extension recognises the button with high confidence and the rule is active. If recognition is less certain, for example after a portal update, the block becomes a warning.

That way a fault in ClickCheck can never cause an outage in the systems you manage.
