How it works

Write the agreement, point at the button, done.

ClickCheck has two parts: a browser extension for your colleagues and a dashboard where you manage the rules. Here’s how they work together.

Example Sanne from Management gets the request on her phone, with amount, rule and reason. One tap and Lisa can carry on.

Step 1

Install and link the extension.

The extension is the only software that goes on workstations. It runs in Chrome and Edge.

  1. Install

From the Chrome Web Store or Edge Add-ons, or deployed centrally by IT through Intune or group policy.

  2. Link

The extension shows a short pairing code. You confirm it in the dashboard and the device belongs to your organisation.

  3. Fetch rules

The extension fetches the rules that apply to that person and keeps them up to date, using its own key per device, never a password.

Step 2

Create a rule by pointing at the button.

Open the website in question, choose “Select element” in the extension and click the button. ClickCheck remembers how to recognise it, even when the page changes a little.

Then you add when the rule applies and what should happen. If you’d rather type, describe the agreement in plain language and let the rule assistant draft it.

Rule · FinanceTest

When someone clicks Schedule payment in accounts.example and the account number isn’t known for that supplier, show a warning and ask for confirmation.

Test status: only visible to you until you publish it

Step 3

ClickCheck helps in the moment.

When the condition matches, ClickCheck holds the click for a moment and shows the agreement. How firmly is up to you, per rule.

  • Let someone know, without interrupting.

    Information

  • Make them pause at a risk.

    Warning

  • Have them confirm deliberately.

    Confirmation

  • Walk them through fixed steps.

    Checklist

  • Have someone else sign off.

    Approval

  • Point to a better route.

    Alternative

  • Actually stop it.

    Block

Data

What stays local and what reaches the server.

Stays in the browser

  • The page content
  • Amounts, account numbers and text being checked
  • Anything someone types or pastes
  • Every website without a rule

Goes to ClickCheck

  • That rule X was triggered, and on which website
  • The choice: continue, cancel, request approval
  • For an approval request: the amount and the reason
  • Whether the button was still recognised properly

If ClickCheck isn’t sure enough about a button, a block automatically becomes a warning. Work always carries on.

Frequently asked questions

How long does it take to get started?

Installing and linking the extension takes a few minutes. So does a first rule. Most of the time goes into deciding which agreements matter most.

Does it work on mobile?

The extension works in desktop browsers. Approvers can decide on their phone.

Do people need training?

No. They only see a message when an agreement applies, with clear buttons.

Make a mistake once. Not twice.

Free for 3 users and 3 rules. No credit card needed.
